About me:

I’m Seth Wright (he/him), a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #116102 and an Ontario Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) CRPO #022001. I offer online psychotherapy and training for people navigating burnout, anxiety, neurodivergence, identity exploration, creativity, and the general weird experience of being human. My style is warm, collaborative, thoughtful, and playful.

Background:

My passion is helping make the world kinder, more spacious, and more welcoming for all brain styles. My work is grounded in a strengths-based neurodiversity approach, which means I do not see Autism, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence as diseases to be cured, but as meaningful and necessary parts of human diversity. I believe there is no single “normal” brain, and that all people deserve to be better understood, cared for, and accommodated.

Before returning to private practice, I spent years working as a therapist in California public schools, supporting adolescents and young adults through anxiety, depression, identity development, family stress, neurodivergence, burnout, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, creative, and deeply human. I’m especially drawn to working with thoughtful, imaginative, sensitive, geeky, masked, overwhelmed, or misunderstood clients who are ready to better understand themselves and build lives that feel more honest and livable.

My work is also shaped by many of my own special interests, including theater arts, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Dungeons & Dragons. These worlds remind me that identity, belonging, courage, imagination, and transformation are not just clinical themes. They are part of how we survive, grow, and find our way home to ourselves.

I don’t believe people need to be fixed. I believe we need to be better understood, better supported, and invited into the kind of curiosity and insight that helps us grow into fuller versions of ourselves.”
